Tablet PCs

Dell tried this back in 2003 and now we have the iPad.

I personally hate the iPad and everything it stands for. Hey look, its a giant iPod that can do the same crap Kindle does for 5 times the price. I understand that Flash will soon be obsolete with the mainstreaming of HTML 5 coming. Honestly, anybody who buys one of these is absolutely ridiculous. I'm done ranting, lets hear your opinions on that lovely piece of craftsmanship known as the iPad (iPoop).

  1. I have to agree with you. I would rather buy a laptop than an ipad. And as someone who owns a Kindle, I have to admit that nothing is better for reading right now than e-ink.

  4. I don't want an iPad. I could get another laptop for the price for an iPad and I could do more with the laptop. Hell, I could get a touchscreen laptop I'm guessing for the same price of an iPad. However I wouldn't mind having an iPod touch. Fits in my pocket and I can watch videos while using the bathroom. It'd be a bit awkward carrying a laptop in the bathroom.

  5. I'm actually getting an iPad myself, but only because the thing will actually save money, and there is no Kindle here.

  6. Just a big waste of money, everything it does, you already have something that can do it. It doesnt replace anything

  19. A laptop seems like it does the job and the ipod works. I just don't see the need for a tablet PC.
